God Bless Our Military

As we pray for them, we pray also for all our nation’s leaders, and military personnel, and their families and friends. May God hold them close to His heart.

We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.

Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!!!!!

Thank you Dutchess for posting the Stations of the Cross today.

in about another hour I'm going to the Stations at the church I attend at 12 noon.

For today I had something to post I think is appropriate as we remember the Passion and Death of Our Lord. The sorrow felt today will give way to JOY and Jubilation at the glorious Ressurection of Our Lord on Easter Sunday.

Remember that Christ did this for ALL wether Republican or Democrat, Black or White, Christian or Jew. American or foriegner.

I was doing some thinking as I was watching Dr Condolezza Rice give her testimony before the 911 commission and I was struck by her calm and demeaner. several time I said to myself that I would not be so gracious in my answers as certian of the questioners saught to interrupt her at every turn. She never lost that composure and made the questioners seem small and petty. I admire Dr Rice and see her as a jewel in President Bush's Cabinet.

It seems sad that we as a nation has to be divided and torn apart as it seem to me to be as one side is pitted against another, I think Al Queda is thrilled at this and probably see us as easy pickings right now.

Why this division? Why the contension?

After 911 we should be united more than ever.

We should rember that whe the terrorists came and flew those planes into the WTC in New York and in the Pentagon. They did not care what state we camr from or what religious beliefs we held or what political party we followed. Do you think they cared who was conservative or who was liberal?

No!

We were Americans ans we were the infadels.

Thier policy is to kill as many people as they can.

Yet Christ even surrered and died for them as well, even if they don't believe it. I will constantly pray for them for thier conversion and for thier eyes to be opened to the TRUTH.

Yet I'll not let them destroy what I hold dear, that is, this counrtry or my way of life.

It's the same with liberals and Democrats, who insist that thier way should be the only way followed and who are so power hungry that they forgot they are Al Queada's targets too.

Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton, Dean among others should be made to realize what it is that they are diong to us. I will pray that they, too will have thier eyes to the Truth be opened.

I look forward to the day we can all stand side by side with our brothers and sisters and shout in a loud clear voice "JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!"

I think Condi,s performance at that hearing was supurb and should be an example to all who face such a test.
