Seven FOXnews Shows Out-Rate Larry 'King of Talk'

Seven FOX Shows Out-Rate Larry 'King of Talk' Exclusive: I bet the folks at FOX are pleased about Tuesday's cable news ratings. Larry King -- typically one of the top primetime shows, and CNN's only show that ever creeps above a .8 or so -- was beaten by seven FOX shows. Karen Hughes was his guest, and he still couldn't score more than a 1.1 (948,000 households / 1,132,000 viewers). Compare that to O'Reilly (2.0), H&C (1.6), Shep (1.5), Brit (1.3), Greta (1.3), Gibson (1.2), and FOX & Friends (1.2). Daytime shows like F&F and the Big Story have fewer households watching TV at a given moment, but they are still beating Larry. That can't possibly bode well for Mr. King... 7:51:41 PM

I am away from home on business and all I get in my room is CNN, ABC, CBS, etc. and I think my head may explode if I don't get home soon to my Fox News network! Is it just me? Every time I try to listed to CNN, for example, I feel like I'm watching the international Bush-bashing olympics! I mean I get angry when I hear the constant negative drum beat! At least Larry had Hughes on and that was worth watching (except for the parts where Larry would open his pie hole). What a putz!

I haven't seen the latest but Chris runs between a 0.3 and a 0.5 on his best nights. He sometimes only gets a 0.2.

Consider that Chris reaches about a half million people. Rush reaches 22 million and Sean Hannity reaches 15 million.

CNN a year ago was in a dead heat with fox. Now it is nearly 2 to 1 Fox.

CNN looks at the election returns and sees that half vote for the left and half vote for the right. So they believe that if they appeal to the left and Fox appeals to the right, they should have equal sized audiences.

MOst Democrats are of lower class demographics. They do not believe they can control their destiny. So they depend on the Liberal elite to look out for them. They let the left control their futures.

The right on the other hand, is from the midde demographics. They know they can control their own destiny if they pay attention.

No leftist network or show will ever succeed. The huge majority of people that vote for the left never watch or listen to a news channel. The right is always going to watch the channel they like best. CNN hasn't a clue and is not likely to get one soon.

Last I heard he's getting CNBC some measurable ratings, in the .3 arena, which is much higher than anything they had before.

Great analysis and might I add that a lot of CNN's appeal was in its initial phase - their heyday. They were the only game in town and therefore could set the agenda (as Conkrite likes to brag he did on CBS)

They became another faction of the Partisan Press because they covered international news when the Partisan Press began cutting back.

I love the time when Donald Trump told Larry King his breath stunk. Larry King is a chump for CNN.

The ratings are not good. They are not likely to get any better. He was doing a 0.2 ot 0.4 the last I saw.

The huge majority of Democratic voters would only watch CNN if their union told them to.

I don't think Larry is going anywhere, seeing he's the highest rated show CNN has. (Sad, isn't it?)
