Not that ABC needed any help in destroying its credibility. It's amazing that they would admit this.

I'm sure John Dean will be the next "consultant" hired.

I don't think any of us expected anything else from the spinmeisters on ABC. I know I didn't. You can expect to hear the same drivel on the nightly news. I'll be listening to Brit Hume, our only hope.

So Clarke was a paid performer for ABC, NBC and VIACOM (CBS' parent company)!
What's the matter? Fox and PBS not have the $$$?

Our enemies have no compunction about lying.
But the truth is still far more powerful than lies.
The only way the truth won't win is if men and women of good conscience fail to speak the truth, loudly and forcefully.
Here is the truth that the American people need to hear over and over until they completely get it:
9-11 is the most vivid (to date) outworking of the Clinton legacy.
Eight years of all carrot, no stick foreign relations led to that point in history.
If the Bush team made any mistake in this, it was in keeping so many of Clinton's appointees around.
Richard Clarke is the most glaring example.
To: chance33_98
Mr. Clarke, what hearings did you listen to today?

Clarke Says Rices Testimony Bolstered His Claims The one's where Bush was great and Clinton sucked or the ones where Clinton was great and Bush sucked. Knowing him he'll claim both.

What a joke! Clarke is trying his best to spin this in his favor, but the truth is known. He is a narcissistic liar.

I loved the way Rice handled Bob (I'm stupid) Kerry.

So Clarke wanted to make sure Bush was 'aware' of the threat of Al Queda. It's been shown time and again the Bush and Rice both were well aware of the threat. What the hell is this guy's problem?

the man (Clarke) is delusional.

Clarke said:
And frankly, I think that Dr. Rice's testimony today, and she did a very good job, basically corroborates what I said. She said that the president received 40 warnings face to face from the director of central intelligence that a major al Qaeda attack was going to take place and she admitted that the president did not have a meeting on the subject, did not convene the Cabinet. She admitted that she didn't convene the Cabinet. And as some of the commissioners pointed out, this was in marked contrast to the way the government operated in December of 1999, when it had similar information and it successfully thwarted attacks. So I don't see that there are a lot of factual problems with what Dr. Rice said.
When did Condi say any of this today?
