The biggest irony is the author condemning Limbaugh for ad hominem attacks.

Here we have a woman who is seeing a psychiatrist to resolve "issues" and is utterly stuck in the "anyone who disagrees with me politically is stupid" rut. She's proclaiming it to the reading public of Salon where she ought to be confiding it to her shrink, because it is a genuine mental problem.

I felt like Larry David in the season finale of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," an episode in which he's happily being seduced -- until a photo of Bush 43 on the woman's dresser kills his passion and turns his stomach.

She's definitely in transferrence in here, considering men probably feel the same way about her:
