To be accurate, the aliens that were apprehended on Ft. Huachuca arrived as one group and split up while on Post. One group was captured in the new Veterans Cemetery and the other on a hill just south of there.

If some in the mainstream media are finally reporting the truth, why cant our leaders? Good question.
It would defy logic to think such an amnesty proposal wouldn't encourage the influx of illegals.

This fact alone makes GWB's "War on Terror" an absolute folly.
Just pure political grandstanding.

Bush is doing an OK job in the war on terror, a good job, better then OK. But he is so wrong on so many other issues that I might not vote for him again. Can't vote for that pig Kerry so I am thinking about having a few beers and watching TV this nov.

Actually, here are the numbers...on the
one day that the 120 were caught on Ft. Huachuca, 500 were caught in 3 Arizona border counties - Cochise, Santa Cruz, and Pima.
Official BP numbers say they catch one in three, or for every illegal caught, 2 get away. That says that 1000 illegals along my stretch of the border made it through on Saturday, March 27th.
The line agents will tell you that the real numbers are anywhere from 1 in 5 to 1 in 10. That means 4 to 9 times the apprehended number makes it through. If you use the low number, 2000 made it through on that Saturday.
Now, multiply Saturday by 30, and you get 60,000 illegal aliens home free in the month of March. I know it isn't a quarter million...but it starts to come close if you use the higher ratio of 1:10. And that is only along half of the Arizona/Mexico border. That doesn't account for illegals crossing at San Diego, Yuma, Colombus, Deming, Las Cruces, El Paso, the Big Bend, or anywhere else along the Rio Grande.
Does that put it into perspective for you?

Think about this...
Don't not vote, cast a vote that will show up in the numbers, cast a vote for the constitution party.

Maybe they are coming back for lawn mowing season from winter vacation? If not and we get 60,000+ young males a month pouring across the borders then we are in a world of hurt when all those jobs are taken and they have little to do besides engage in criminal behavior. It is really the "Camp of the Saints" and our elite is powerless in the face of the ethnic/racial/business lobbies that encourage this rush on the borders.

As one who has seen the strawberry fields referred to on a continual basis for 20 years, I can attest that the fields during the entirety of that time have had strawberries grown on them, which have been picked by Hispanic looking folks. Indeed, there are a few fields less, since some have been converted to development. Thus the assumption that there are "more" illegals picking them now than before makes no sense.
I also suspect the million a month figure is bogus. That would mean the number of illegals in the US would double in a year. If that were the case, I think I would be reading more about the impact of the population boom in the illegal neighborhoods.

Marine Inspector,
What say ye? Thinking myself, these neighborhoods aren't the targets of the Deluge, states like Ga and NC are.
Saturday afternoons at many a WalMart, one would be hard-pressed to determine what country this is.
