W A S H I N G T O N, D.C., April 8 With the Sept. 11 commission pressing its investigation of the terror attacks, families of the victims say they want someone inside the Bush administration to admit fault as a show of loyalty to the American people.
"We need an admission that mistakes were made," said Beverly Eckert, widowed on Sept. 11 and now a member of a victims' family steering committee.

Misguided Loyalty, one of those ironic titles. Allowing Teresa Heinz-Kerry's hired guns to identify themselves only as "families of the victims" when ABC knows better is a pure disgrace and a mockery of journalism. (THK is the chairmwoman of the Heinz Endowments, which funds "The Tides Foundation," which funds "Peaceful Tomorrows." Wow! So sneaky the press can't follow it.) That's pretty misguided behavior.
I especially like the snippet that has Beverly Eckert schmoozing with 83-year-old commie folk-singer Pete Seeger. Yeah, there you are!
"We need an admission mistakes were made." Yeah!
Then she better contact Clinton right away. It was apparent that they steered their committee right into the gutter today.

Excuse me, Clinton had 8 long years to stop Bin Ladin. He chose sex instead.
Gore said nothing about terrorism during his presidential campaign. If it were such a big deal to the Clinton administration, why was it totally ignored by Gore?
My guess is these people blaming Bush are far left wing registered Democrats. NYC is full of them. With Democrats in charge, they could get more money $$$, money $$$, money $$$.
Pretty sad they use their dead family members for their own personal greed and power. I used to feel sorry for them. Not anymore. I just feel sorry for their kids.
I saw that phrase and I knew they were lying. Really p!sses me off they're that brazen, and think we're that stupid.
Both Fetchet and Eckert say they're not interested in hearing National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, in her testimony today, shoot down Clarke's claims the Bush administration, and Rice specifically, didn't do enough to prevent Sept. 11.It doesn't matter what the truth is. It matters what "we need."
They say they're tired of hearing members of the administration defending themselves and the entire organization. Fetchet and Eckert say they want to hear specific details about what went wrong and who was responsible.Unless it's about what Clinton-Gore didn't do for eight years. It's about what "we need," but don't tell who "we" are.
Yep. Funded by a group paid for by Heinze Kerry. Nope. No bias here - NOT!
The 9/11 victims "loving family members" have been bought and paid for. Forget "love", just hand over the cash!
GMA has given Teresa Hienz Kerry a free commerical (through the "Peaceful Tomorrows" group) as described more fully in the link below. You can give them a piece of your own mind here.http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1113758/posts?page=13#13
I am the poster of that link to the ABCNews.com version of your presentation.
Peaceful Tomorrows has little money that isn't from the Heinz Endowments via The Tides Foundation. You have your nerve, really, allowing them to represent themselves as "the families of the 9-11 victims" and not even give the name of their organization.
That and they don't mention their own name anymore when they attack the Bush (not Clinton) administration. They're starting to notice some attention.
