The alphabet networks must have some inside info on 'gotcha' questions to come today. They are going to preempt their morning programming to show this.

I am starting a new folder called FR - Witness to History. This one is going in it, as is Columbia, WTC, the elections, etc.
One day these would make an incredible book. There is nothing like them.
That's a good idea. Imagine historians decades/centuries from now mulling through our thoughts, commentaries, sarcasms.

In that case, this Commission's report will have some large gaping holes and if their mission was to find out why 911 happened then their report has very little value.

"who is certainly no one's brown sugar as Doonesbury called her today."
WHAT???!!! Oh, that is low. And Republicans are supposedly racist.
Every time I have ever heard Dr. Rice being interviewed, she has been composed, articulate and brilliant. Today will be no exception.

Local news here prefaced their story about Condi testifying by stating Bush relented and allowed her to testify after the OUTRAGE when he first refused. This is gonna be great!

I have a bad feeling about this hearing today. Rice is smarter than just about everybody, but I think the Dem members are out to ambush her.
IMO, nothing good can come out of this today.

If Clarke and Clinton and Hillary had been completely HONEST
to the American public about the Islamic-crashed airplanes in the 90's
would Americans have been on alert on 911 and prevented at least one of the atrocities?

What I heard is the commission reviewed 11,000 pages of documents and found them mostly irrelevant and they'll keep 12.
Now, that does not mean they won't look at Clinton, it means that little drama that was waged last week that Bush was "keeping" Clinton documents from the commission, per Bruce Lindsey, was false.
The commission did say they will also look at that final National Security report issued by the Clinton administration and compare it to Clarke's assertions about terrorism---Al Qaeda in particular---being top priority.

"Is it on www.Cspan.org?"
It was the local Ottawa, Canada radio station (www.cfra.com). :) There's an online poll that asks the same question, and last I checked Condi was winning.
I was taped and listened to it later--I sounded so awful I had to turn the volume down. I sounded like Hillary Clinton, with a bunch of "you knows". Blech. :) But then, I did grow up in the Chicago suburbs like she did.
