You raised some points about the size of a MEF that I think aren't correct. Are you sure? I think you must have me confused with another poster.

Sky News just had a breaking news report where they stated that Polish troops had killed the head of Al Sadrs's office in Karbala.
That's it. I guess they offed Sadr's main man in Karbala..

"A Corp[s] in Army terms is a huge force."III Corps is composed of two active divisions (1st Cavalry and 4th Infantry), one reserve division (49th Armored .. Texas Lone Star), 13th Corps Support Command (over a brigade in size), and the 6th AirCav .. well over 60,000 troops.

Thanks for an intelligent contribution
You're welcome. I figured it was on a par with what comes out of the Imus program and his "regulars."

Aaron Brown could hardly contain his glee at the Marine deaths last night. He and his fellow sickos at CNN are disgusting. I saw that last night too ... as I don't have FOX news in Canada. I tella, when I saw that little bas!ard light up a smile when he was talking about that I actually threw something accross the room. Man I am still pi$$ed about that. And of course that Walt Rogers idiot doing his "sky is falling routine" was just so nuts.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Awesome stuff and another reason why I like getting my news from this internet site over all others.

THE US HAVE BOMBED A MOSQUE IN THE CENTER OF FALLUJAH.
To: Eurotwit
Politically unfortunate but probably tactically necessary.

I hear ya. I wonder who in the media hasn't had a run-in with Rummy? Miklaszewski must still have contacts or NBC would replace him, is my guess.

You raised some points about the size of a MEF that I think aren't correct. From my days as a Gator Sailor and working with the III MEF out of Okinawa. Not including support personnel a MEF is between 1200-1500 Marines. My memory may be faulty but I don't think so.

Pentagon update on Fox after the commercials. I look forward to some bullets from you - in a bit more serious tone than my Kerry economic speech key points. :-)

In my current mood: That's more good news.
To: Eurotwit
This was probably why al Sadr's misfits were calling for people to come to the mosque.

I believe it's also called a MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit), right?
