Just what I always wanted to be known as -- a tuna girl!

I sense puns on the horizon....

WAR STORY:

Back in the days before Desert Storm, Missus was known to our tank battalion as "The Cookie Lady". She would rally the other girls to a baking fest during deployments, and while we were out there, this MASSIVE crate - couldn't call it a box - of baked goods would show up, wrapped in the local paper: about three weeks' worth of back issues, there was that much food.

One time was, our TOC got seperated from the supply trucks, and we started to get low on food. We got a radio call from the 1SG: there was a CRATE waiting back there.

I was immediately detailed a Jeep (that's how long ago this story goes), a driver, and a shotgun rider, to fetch the crate UNDER ARMED GUARD, to bring it back to the TOC! Everyone knew what was in that crate by now, and there were vultures circling when I got back.
