will the mainstream press ever pick this up?Fat chance. Senator Dodd won't even be dragged into the BET studios to get grilled in a one-on-one interview.

No, I doubt very much the national media will pick up on this story. But we should push it. I've already had quite an email conversation with Aaron Brown (and his feeble answers to why CNN hasn't ran with it).
However, look at this link here. Guess who was one of only two US Senator's calling for Lott to resign?? John F KERRY!.
Now, shouldn't the press ask Mr. Kerry if Dodd should resign as well...and if not....why the "flip-flop" (on yet another issue!!). http://www.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/12/14/lott.reax/

I saw this today on Brit's show (and someone mentioned that Tony Snow talked about it on his radio show today).
Were it not for FOX, we'd NEVER hear about stories like these.

I didn't see Dodd's remarks on Byrd on the Fox home page. Could someone give us a hint what this is about?

Roll Call Chris Dodds Lott Moment?

It looks like Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) got a little carried away with a tribute speech last week upon the occasion of Sen. Robert Byrd (D-W.Va.) casting his 17,000th vote in the chamber.

It'll be fun watching all the self-serving excuses offered up by the press -- all the reasons this isn't a "story" -- how it's sooooooooooo different from what Lott said.
What kind of business, dependent on credibility for survival, would share a bed with democrats? It's stunning in it's stupidity. The media shames itself one more time.

Fred nailed Mort on his flip-flop. He saw in Lott a racist but not in Dodd. Down arrow for Mort this week.(ups and downs)Beltway Boy's.

RUSH:
Dodd said "If it was a democratic leader (that said what Lott said), we would have called for the immediate resignation of without any question whatsoever."
TIME FOR DODD TO TAKE HIS OWN ADVICE.

Je$$e, $harpton, and the Black Entertainment Network must be foaming over this one. When will Dodd schedule his on-air apology fest?
