Any Missouri/Illinois FReepers Wanna Help Welcome Home Some Troops? (vanity)
Me! | StarCMC

This is a heads up from the sister of a returning Captain in the US Army Reserves...

Tomorrow, my brother Capt. Kalen J. Finefrock, the commander of the 969th Transportation Unit which has been activated for over 14 months, over 12 of which were spent in Iraq, will be returning with his soldiers to the Army Reserve headquarters in Belleville, IL. sometime between 12 pm and 2 pm. They are on their way from Ft. McCoy in Wisconsin and this will be the first time they have seen their families in over 14 months. Tomorrow is also my brother's birthday! What a gift!

Any help welcoming them home will be appreciated by the heroes of the 969th Transportation Unit and their families.

Thank you.

StarCMC

I'd love to be there to welcome them home, but I have to go to work tomorrow.

Give your brother a big hug, and an enormous "thank you" from my family and me.

I was traveling through Bellville just today. I live in central Illinois but won't be able to make it back there tomorrow. Wish I could! My son's reserve unit was activated back in Aug and he has been in Iraq since Nov. He is with the 724th transportation Co. out of Bartonville Illinois.
