Perhaps, that's why he has started stirring up trouble. He might have feared that they finally was in the process of arresting him.

Senor saying the arrest warrant was ssued in last several months. Sadr must have figured out what was going on once this Yacoubi guy was picked up and unleashed his thugs in order to prevent his own arrest.
To: Eurotwit
Yep, he knew he was going down. Apparently, the arrest warrant was for murder.
To: vbmoneyspender
He should quit before he ends up like Ahmed Yassin.

All hell is going to break loose if we do NOT arrest this guy. This guy is the representative of all the Muslim theocracies in the Middle East. If he wins, we lose.

All of this is starting to make sense as far as what is going on with the Shiites -- Sadr's crew figured out over the past few days that they are going to be picked up and are going to go to jail for a long time, so it was a use it or lose it situation as far as their militia is concerned. I am starting to wonder now if the whole Fallujah incident was a coincidence or if it was somehow cooked up by people who had an idea of what was going to happen to Sadr.

Hellooooo, AN ARREST WARRANT?!!? Oh yeah the dude is shaking in his boots just about now! The warrant should come AFTER our troops riddled him with bullets!!
