I've been really surpised to see how many people try to compare the present US climate, populace with guns and the general situations in our nation, to Iraq. Do you folks really think I advocate the removal of guns from citizens in the US, or do you actually think these two nations are comparable in the slightest at the present time?

I'm a big Second Amendment rights guy, myself. Unfortunately, Mr. Bush is not, and neither is Mr. Kerry. I was merely pointing out that the practice our troops are getting in confiscating guns from the population could readily be put into use stateside. Since we are the liberators of Iraq, it is logical, is it not, that Iraqis and Americans should have (or not have) the same rights?
