I agree with you on the funding issue. Freeze those accounts or give them two weeks to move those funds back home, then freeze whatever's left.

As for alternative energy sources so that we can tell the idiots in the middle east to go pound sand, I think we should launch a "Manhatten' level effort to create alternative energy producing products that will see us energy self-sufficient within ten years maximum, 70 to 80% or so within five or six years.

First of all, USA needs to act immediately on alternative
fuel sources. We need to do this before a big crisis comes. NOW! We should not be driven by the huge oil companies.

Think about this:

If in 5 - 6 years the world had no need for oil, what are the 1/2 billion people in the middle east going to do without any "income". Their only industries are terrorism and oil.
