I mentioned the staff, because one of the members of the commission happened to mention the fact that it would staff who would be reading the thousands of pages.

I think the staff will be too young and too inexperienced to really understand what they're reading, and therefore will make some incorrect judgements.

I think that's especially true for the hate-Bush members of the commission. They already have an agenda and will be looking for any minute item they can use to misinterpret the truth.

I do not doubt that is the case; having staff read this stuff; I mean; for the most part, our elected Senators/Congressmen do not even read the bills they sign.

Astounding when you think of it. . .a jury; each individual is responsible to know the testimony of the case they are judging. If they do not do their task mindfully; the verdict can be challenged.

And here we have a panel making historic, life-altering judgments, without personally having to make the painstaking inquiry that even a jury is expected to do.

The more I think of this; the more outrageous it becomes!
