Hmm...you might try "Dennis, what color is the sky on your home planet?"

There is one I love asking my liberal friends, and it runs like this - "if you are correct and the liberation of Iraq was impermissible, are you willing to live with the consequences of not taking Saddam down, such as the rape rooms, the summary executions, the systematic persecution of minorities in the country? How can you say you stand for peace and human rights and also say you'd prefer to let those things happen? And if you think there's a way other than what we did, what is it? Sanctions? You opposed them. Negotiation? It didn't work. What is your better idea?"

If he counters with the old "well, we didn't take Kim down in Korea," just ask him if he's saying we ought to do that, and if not, why not? If he says we have no right to be the world's policeman, ask him if the liberation of Auschwitz didn't mean that in fact, we must occasionally be precisely that?

Ask him if he knew how many Iraqis Saddam killed in a month, as opposed to how many we killed in our liberation?

If he claims we should go after the "root causes of terrorism," poverty and oppression, ask him why it was that the 9/11 hijackers were rich bigots who hated women and Jews?

Enjoy...but don't expect the audience to help you out much.

These aren't confrontational. Ask him why he is still in the race since Kerry has won the nomination. Would he accept the VP slot? Does he think Kerry is too far right? What does he think of Nader?
