Who would buy cold medicine from a hardware store? It's called Robo-tussin.

There is a syndrome called Munchausen's by Proxy (forgive the spelling) where a mother (usually) keeps taking her child to the doctor, making up symptoms and putting the child through all kinds of diagnoses to gain sympathy. Is there any kind of disease where the person does that to herself?
To: CatoRenasci
What we clearly have here is an extremely screwed up little girl in a grown-up's body. Sounds like another excellent presidential candidate for the Demonrat party.

I had several courses in psychology that were REQUIRED in my major. If anyone fits the case for missing about half the cards in her deck, it is this Seiler kid. Whether it is a daddy-daughter hang-up or whatever, I don't give a damn.
What matters is that she gets her head checked inside and out by a pro. After all Mom and Dad didn't pass the smell test during the press conference. After all, if I had parents like that, I'd have got as far away from them as possible as soon as I could have.
Wait a minute! I did have parents like that! That's why I left home at 17 and joined the Marines to distance myself from my folks! One of the best moves I ever made! Maybe Audrey would do well to do the same - distancing herself from her folks, that is ...

See my previous reply to Hibernius to see I am not mocking Audrey, but only illustrating a serious problem with pushy butthead parents that often drive kids over the edge...

20 year old intelligent woman If you are referring to Audrey Seiler, you've created an oxymoron.

I'm getting tired of people saying she is "very mentally ill and needs professional help immediately."
Folks, this chick is just one of millions of SPOILED PRINCESS BRATS that'll do ANYTHING to get attention.
She wasn't getting enough attention apparently, and did this stunt to get ATTENTION.
Girls want ATTENTION.

From "Harvey" (1950)
Elwood P. Dowd: Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say,
"In this world, Elwood, you must be" -- she always called me Elwood -
"In this world, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. And you may quote me.
(One of my favorite quotes. Had it on my home page for years.)

Munchausen's is when you hurt yourself to get attention.
Munchausen's-by-proxy is when you hurt someone else to get attention.
