This is just more soft campaign money for Kerry -- Nice job John McCain, you sure wasted a lot of Congressional time on that law.

Al FrankenFuhrer as a MODERATE? Wooohooh, hahahahaha!
To: truthandlife
And while Franken is certainly angry at the Republican Party, his anger is a pretty measured, responsible anger--which prevents him from going as far as many of his listeners would obviously like him to. *chortle*

O.K., Franken will fail because he is too smart, too moderate, too inexperienced doing radio, but is not an extreme partisan and wacko.
I think the writer got the failure part right, but that's about it.

On successful conservative radio opposing views get to the front of the call-in line. Liberals views never hold up to scrutiny, I doubt they will take serious opposing call-ins that will blatantly expose their deliberate ignorance.

The DNC base is comprised of people who just hate. They froth. They seize. They are irrational.
The base is solid, but it is not the entire electorate they want to capture. The idea that moderates, indys and republicans will be swayed by Franken's ~analytical~ arguments is wrong. The DNC is financing a propaganda arm of the party, not a radio talkshow. I disagree with Rush and the rest sometimes. They disagree with the GOP on issues at times.
Franken will either have to become a slathering democrat or fail. I vote failure.

the much ballyhooed liberal talk radio show, hosted by Al Franken, which, along with the much ballyhooed liberal talk radio network Air America, All of the "ballyhoo" has come from the liberals themselves and their media cohorts. Of course, it does no good. If you are going to go into the business of selling sh*t burgers, you can ballyhoo all you want, but the sh*t burgers still aren't going to sell.

When Franken pointed out that this wasn't much of an apology, Moore asked Gore, "How do you feel about what I'm saying?" Gore replied with exasperation, "What are you saying?" Enlightening exchange.....
This shows that liberals can't understand each others' versions of doublespeak.
I previously assumed they could hold a meaningful conversation, because they all spoke the same dialect of "doublespeak."
They are in worse shape than I thought.

Franken will presumably get more comfortable the longer he's on the airBut will listeners get more comfortable with the sound of Franken's spittle hitting his microphone?

and I'd imagine that after one month he will sound a whole lot more polished than on his first day. Wishful thinking at its best. Frankin has been doing this for 30 years, now he is going to become more polished in one month???? LOL, yeah that's the ticket.

I think this 'liberal network' thing is actually a good thing. As people tune in to 'learn more' about he liberal agenda, they'll discover the same things Dorothy did in Oz - there's nothing behind the curtain. The arguments are bankrupt. And gainst hebackdrop of reality, most will realize that the fetal position is a self defeating posture. Let them talk - it works to conservatives advantage.

And while Franken is certainly angry at the Republican Party, his anger is a pretty measured, responsible anger-- Isn't this the same Franken who has physically assulted people he disagrees with. 'Measured' response, yeah right.

The contrast between Franken the (supposed) mainstream Dem and Rush the extremist is just silly. If you study Limbaugh's positions you find that there are very much mainstream conservative Republican. His bombastic delivery can be off-putting to some but his views are really quite conventional. The problem with the liberal view of Rush is that they never actually listen to him. They just listen to other liberals (who never listen to him) describe him as an extremist and parrot that line.

OK folks, time to start the Franken Death Pool.
Albert Wang takes December 15, 2004 as the final day for this clown's radio show. Step up and place ypur bets.

Rush does not do conspiracy theories. I really wouldn't listen to him if he did. He occasionally says something that isn't really true, and he probably exaggerates a bit, but he is mostly pretty responsible. That is not part of his success.
I am personally finding this liberal network very entertaining. The elitism they show is hilarious. Yesterday I heard a discussion about how the average person is dumb and doesn't know what is best for them, and they were trying to decide how to they could explain it to the little people.
I really don't care if it succeeds or not. I believe if it does, it will just highlight how silly real liberals truly are.
