I heard a theory on a talk radio show today that Hillary would start to act like a hawk to court the moderates and clinch the 2008 election. The liberal "Base" will just follow like lemmings.

That's one possibility though I doubt she'd settle for second place in anything. If Bush's numbers were to drop low enough before November ($3.00/gal. gas), Kerry-the-spear-catcher will have served his purpose and something major will happen (like the unseen spear Clinton stabs him in the back with).
