That's one possibility though I doubt she'd settle for second place in anything. If Bush's numbers were to drop low enough before November ($3.00/gal. gas), Kerry-the-spear-catcher will have served his purpose and something major will happen (like the unseen spear Clinton stabs him in the back with).
Gotta hand it to Kerry though, he's out there campaigning with an aspiring Clinton waiting in the wings. Gutsy.
