He attended so many meetings where they voted on whether or not to engage in a terrorist plot to assassinate US Senators that he just can't remember one from the other.

Everything seems to hinge on this Lipscomb person. Is he credible?

The more relevant question may be: "Is he still alive?"

I particularly liked this comment: "In any case, Barnes said, the plot suggested by Camil was never taken seriously and was quickly shouted down."

Something which is quickly shouted down is not given a name; i.e. Project Phoenix.

215 day till the election. A good chance this and 1000 other unbecoming incidences become known. The only way he doesn't lose 45 states is to hide.

How is this for conspiracy theory? - Kerry was the FBI informer, which is why he was so easily cleared to move into mainstream politics. Now he is relying on the support of his Vietman "buddies" to legitimize his patriot-warrior standing against President Bush. But, alas, it is now going to be revealed that HE was the FBI snitch. Where is his Viet bud backing now? What are his presidential chances now? Yep, those Clinton/FBI files sure set him up for the well-timed fall.

Sounds like the Boston Globe is trying to spin for Kerry.

I'm not too sure. It's a very feeble defense. All it does is call attention to Kerry's problem.

Hey Cinna-the-poet!

It is amazing that a man can remember "everything" regarding his 4-month service prior to remembering "nothing" about a meeting with "assassination plots".

But of course, if he can remember that he saw and "committed atrocities" that he did not witness, I guess anything is possible...

As a result of Nicosia's assertion, Kerry's campaign said in a statement that while Kerry did not remember being at the meeting, "If there are valid FBI surveillance reports from credible sources that place some of those disagreements in Kansas City, we accept that historical footnote in the account of his work to end the difficult and divisive war."

Yeah, we got caught lying through our teeth (again), let's just call it a historical footnote.

Gotta love the way the "rats can flat out lie, and the far left liberal media just lap it up.

With all due respect, I say a Phoenix Project is exactly what we need in the Sunni Triangle of Iraq.

I like your way of thinking. And from the ashes, may freedom arise.

I never really looked closely at the wording before. Could there be valid FBI reports from sources who aren't credible? What is Kerry getting at here I wonder. Invalid FBI reports from credible sources?
