[history]
Senator John F. Kerry said through a spokesman this week that he has no recollection of attending a November 1971 meeting of Vietnam Veterans Against the War at which some activists discussed a plot to kill some US senators who backed the war.

Hmmm. A little selective amnesia from Kerry. I bet the stolen FBI records placed him there. Parley

Kerry voted for the asassination of the U. S. Senators before he voted against it.

Wait a minute... last week, his campaign people ADMITTED he was there, because they got a copy of the FBI files. Now he's saying he doesn't remember? What's the deal here? Where are the investigative reporters?

Exactly. NO ONE would forget a meeting in which what was discussed was possibly assassinating various senators. He was either not there, or if he was, he should have reported the discussion to The Man.

Investigative reporters? You expect them to tell the truth when they can just as well protect their boy?
To: TommyDale
And hasn't Scott Camil joined Kerry's Florida campaign team?

We have no recollection. I don't remember. I can't recall if he was there. Etc.
Looks like the Dimo Emergency Damage Control Team has been busy.
I particularly liked this comment: "In any case, Barnes said, the plot suggested by Camil was never taken seriously and was quickly shouted down."
I had read that a VOTE was taken. The spinsters must be VERY afraid of this revelation. I hope the GW team can retreive the original FBI documents (available under FOIA) before some Lefty JD employee "accidently" shreds them.

Sounds like the Boston Globe is trying to spin for Kerry.
Tom Lipscomb, reporter for the NY Sun, reports having six witnesses who place Kerry in KC during the timeframe of the 'senator assassination' meeting/voting.

Kerry is having so much trouble with his memory, that people might conclude he has Al's Heimers disorder, just like 'Spotted Al' Gore.

I agree. Yet this story has only slightly made it into the mainstream press. John Fund had a story, but it was only on the online version of the WSJ. A knight-Ridder story, spun like this one, moved a few weeks before, I think. But I don't think it's been on Fox News. Everything seems to hinge on this Lipscomb person. Is he credible?

Maybe it's like the 60's. If you remember them, you weren't really there.
