Man without understanding of the limitations on what he can do, is a truly lost creature. The humanist movement has only played into the hands of the more sinister spin artists of the far left, who have postulated a completely plastic humanity--one where human traits are determined by their cultural environment, not the nature of the individual.
Man needs to learn to live with nature, not imagine that he can reinvent reality. In this pursuit, traditional religion, which like true science also sought truth, was a powerful helpmate.
