Gold is down to $391.70 an ounce - down $5.70 today
Silver is down to $6.52 an ounce - down $.40 today

Missing Tanker Trailer Has N.J. Counter-Terrorism on Alert
Fort Lee-WABC, April 20, 2004) — New Jersey's Office of Counter-Terrorism is issuing an alert. It is searching for a missing gasoline tanker truck that vanished more than a week ago from a parking lot in Pennsauken.

What is the significance of a decrease in the price of precious metals? Is this because interest rates may rise or is this a signal of something more ominous?
