Let's hear from all of you that would attack the writer because of his profession. This person is pointing out the facts. Sad that Cannon can't/won't make the distinction between legal and illegal immigrants.

Chris Cannon is out of out touch with Utahans as well as Americans. Hard to believe he and Senator Orrin Hatch are soft on illegal immigration.

I have a question.
Assuming we agreed to comprehensive blanket amnesty to everyone here illegally today, what exactly would we do with the billion people who sneak in next year? And the year after that?
There is a morning after involved with amnesty that no one seems to be talking about.

Cannon, a lawmaker, has openly expressed his contempt for the distinction between legal and illegal immigration.I'd like to take this opportunity to express my contempt for RINO Cannon.

"We dont make the distinction very often between legal and illegal," he said on June 6, 2002
This info should be publicized in every prison in the U.S.

How about enforcing the laws and increasing patrols on the border, instead of offering the amnesty. Maybe add DEA agents to the the patrols. Seems kinda stupid that we aren't doing this when we are worried about national security.
We ask that the current laws be enforced instead of adding more when it comes to guns, how about doing the same here?

Well that's really at the heart of the problem isn't it?
If you apply the law here, you're a racist. Yet if you turn a blind eye to the illegals, that's justice.
Me confused.

Homeland Security is a publicity sham with a wide open Southern border as it is. Tom Ridge is merely a well dressed frontman to fade the heat and "ease public distress", while not really capable of doing anything of substance for prostitute politicians like Cannon.

I find it amazing that we have not heard from the pro "guest workers" people. Where are they, did they leave FR? One can only hope.

Your characterization of Ridge is not exactly true. He's proposed lots of thing to make America safer. TIA comes to mind right of the bat and lets don't forget CAPPS. We don't have to protect our borders if we can track our citizens.
