Bush Haters Refuse Clarke's Request to Stop the Exploitation
Newsmax ^ | 3/31/04

Posted on 03/31/2004 1:43:34 PM PST by areafiftyone

It's OK for Richard Clarke to cash in on his newfound opposition to President Bush, but he doesn't want anyone else to.

"I just don't want to be used," Clarke moaned today after the Bush-hating pro-Kerry group MoveOn.org Voter Fund refused his request to yank an ad in which he unwittingly stars.

The commercial quotes Clarke from his promotional appearance on CBS's "60 Minutes" claiming that President Bush "ignored terrorism for months when maybe we could have done something to stop 9/11."

(In his testimony before the 9/11 commission, Clarke admitted the terrorist attacks would not have been prevented even if the White House had done everything he wanted.)

He fumed to the Associated Press today, "The point is not whether they're acting illegally, but I certainly want everyone to understand they are acting without my permission and distorting my message."

Sheesh...just what to you expect when you are perfectly willing to use yourself to sell a damn book.

I CANNOT STAND THIS GUY! And he's weird looking to boot!

Clarke deserves this. He chose the wrong side and now he is going to have to pay the piper and the Repubs don't even have to lift a finger. Those communist groups will do it for us!

I think Clarke is starting to get scared at the treatment he's going to receive at the hands of the administration. He hears the footsteps behind him, gaining on him.

"I just don't want to be used," Clarke moaned

Sounds like a line from a cheap romance novel.

Anyway, I'm sure Clarke can stop the Kerryite's use of him, if he really wants to.

And he'd better stop the Kerryites soon, if he wants to save any bit of his shredded reputation. Otherwise, they'll end up throwing him on the compost heap when they're done with him.

Hey Clarke, here's your sign.

Ahh but Move On is not exactly under Kerry's control. They are very very ultra liberal and more of a Deaniac mindset than Kerry. Kerry is just a token dem to get Bush out of office. Believe me they like Kerry as much as Bill Clinton does and that is verrrrrrrrrry little. Clarke has absolutely no chance with Move On. He is going to have to bring a law suit against them to stop them.

Clarke is really saying: “I just don't want to be used” without being paid.

"acting without my permission and distorting my message"

Errr, umm, hey Dick,

Number one, they don't need your stinking permission and...

Number two, the only person distorting your message is YOU!!!!!

Number three, you have the gall to say you don't want to be USED???? And CBS, Viacom, the DemocRATs, the liberals...they are not using you?????...ohhhh nooooooooo, say it ain't so dude.

Perhaps Clarke recognizes that he got a "little carried away" and must now try to put the toothpaste back in the tube to save his sorry butt. Continued airing of his most incendiary accusations does not help him in that regard.

The DUmmies are crying about this also. They say that he should have been asked first. I say that you sleep with dogs you get fleas and he deserves to be "used" like this. He put himself in this position.

HAAAAA! And what is worse the ad sucks! It is so hateful that people will be turned OFF Moveon.org by it not turned off Bush! Talk about your twofers! Clarke gets used and the ad HELPS Bush by illustrating how his opponents are hysteric hate filled bigots.

Sure that is why Moveon.org is fanatically busy raising money for Kerry. Sorry Moveon.org is nothing more then a front for the DNC. The only reason Moveon exists is so the Democrat Leadership can get around the Campaign Fiance Laws they were so hysteric to get passed. Kerry-Moveon.org different faces of the same coin.
