I wish for the uninformed, they'd explain what each person on the list did... (I mean some are obvious..but there are names I haven't heard of)

Telling concert-goers in Hong Kong that he condemns American action earns him a place on the list.

Actually, he meant Bush, not America. And even though he doesn't like Bush and his policies, he still went out to play for the troops and their families. I think actions in this case should speak louder than words. I didn't attend a concert (wanted to leave space for an actual soldier), but those who went said that Santana was very supportive.

Probably a liberal Troll.

antiRepublicrat? For ~remembering~ that Santana went over and performed for the troops?

I think you just proved antiRepublicrat's case.... Accusations of "troll" and Anti-Americanism or erupt instantly at any disagreement over this stupid list.

Jon Alverez posts these threads to push his own site. His list is so muddled it has lost all effectiveness it might have had if he had stuck with major offenders and understood the difference between "American with an opinion different than mine" and "Anti-American"

It's now obvious you dislike Bush.

Your innaccuracy astounds me. So 'obvious' I dislike Bush.... You don't even know me. Look me up. Look at my profile page. Look at my ~actions~ outlined there to support this president and our troops. I disagree with this tactic of hysterical labeling of everyone who has the gall to ~not~ embrace every choice on this list as a troll. It's juvenile and shallow.

I think where the other guy screwed up is that he made a list of names, but didn't back it up with evidence.

If he'd said, here's a traitor and here's why we think so based on their actions or a quote, I think they'd have no case whatsoever.

Of course, I still think they have no case whatsoever.

Those were the guys I had in mind, but didn't know R Williams was back in attack mode.

So, let me see if I understand the rationale here.

Anyone who "attacks" (or in some cases, simply voices disagreement with a sitting President) is to be considered "Anti-American" and worthy of being placed on some sort of Black List?

Here's a hypothetical question for you. Let's say (horror of horrors) Kerry beats Bush come November, would that make any here who would most likely be in the "attack choir" be by default "Anti-American" as well?

To be honest Jack, I've always been opposed to this concept of "Black Lists"

It's now obvious you dislike Bush. We are at war and your attacks hurt America.

You end up looking like an idiot when you try to pidgeon-hole people like Santana and now me. You are right in that I don't like Bush very much. But I agree he did the right thing going to Afghanistan and Iraq and support him fully on that. Santana doesn't like the policies of the President, but will go out to support the troops, forgoing income on sold-out concerts, in order to help alleviate the stressful situation the President has (in his opinion) wrongly put them in. Your all-for and all-against model falls apart on its own lack of merit.

If you don't like people being able to criticize their leaders, then try to get the 1st Amendment altered to give people the same political free speech rights they have in China. Otherwise, realize that patriotic Americans are allowed to disagree with you and our leaders. This sentiment obviously doesn't include types like Penn who actively go over there to try to help our enemies.

Then I guess GWB should make the list since at some media dinner last week, employing a slide of him looking for something under his desk, he poked fun at himself for not being able to find any WMD's in Iraq.

I understand and share the anger at those who would wear UN Pins and claim we have no right to pre-emptive
"defense" measures, but when it comes to a smart a$$ed remark - let it be for what it is. Many on the right - as do many on the left - need to get a sense of humor.

I don't know him/her...he/she does stick out like a turd in a punchbowl in this thread, though. Some are just a tad bit sensitive when called out for their support of those deemed anti-American due to their own words...I guess they feel guilty? Unsure what goes on in their minds.
They love to try and cause a ruckus though...

I thought that it was common knowledge that he is a left-wing hardliner. He's Anti-everything that is American. However, I shall look for links, quotes, etc. If Santana can make the list then Olmos should certainly be there. He is further to the left than Santana. They run in the same crowd.

During war time?

YES, absolutely!

Again, bring me some info, please...I found nothing on Olmos online concerning any bashing of the war on terror, etc. just as I could find nothing online or at the USO site of any Santana pro-USA type behavior...

We have detailed info in our forums concerning all celebs on the list and their actions to embolden our enemies.

agree...Just as some have no issue with that kind of behavior, they are free to shop as they choose. We prefer to share info with others and allow them to decide for themselves.

You'd be amazed at how many people I talk to think Viggo Mortensen is a nice, pro-USA kind of guy. Once they find out he enjoys trashing America at ANSWER rallies, they usually regurgitate. :)

Sorry, I searched, and can't find it. Since I can't provide proof, I withdraw statements and assertions specific to Santana.

Please explain how this list is "muddled". We can't help it that it keeps getting longer as more and more in Hollywood open their mouths.

We don't make this stuff up concerning these celebs, we use their own words and deeds and detail all in our forums.

As for promoting my site, duh.
