ABC Radio News said there were people celebrating and dancing around the vehicle and dragging a body around... they didn't know whose body.

I do not understand why the celebrators are not summarily shot dead. It's ridiculous that this is tolerated.
Arabs are monkeys that learn by repeated example.

When reaction forces arrive and find locals dancing over our fallen soldiers' bodies, they should machine gun them on the spot. If snipers get in ranger first, samp SOP. Wipe out the death-dancers.

OK, I'm not onboard to shoot celebrators summarily and nuke Fallujah - neither action will be good for the ongoing effort to win over the hearts and minds of Iraqis.
Here's what I'd like to see, though...
Have Bremer and the new Iraqi council pass an interim law that says anyone not affiliated with ISC, the Iraqi Army, or coalition forces that approaches one of these sites before it is cleared is subject to 30 days in jail and a huge fine.
Then, next time it happens...
Strikers and Humvees with that new microwave "pain" ray surrounding the site. Zap everyone inside to "pacify" them without killing them. Arrest them all. Apply sentence.
I'm rather upset about more lost soldiers, though. I was just commenting to my wife how casualty rates had seemingly dropped dramatically as of late... :-(

Somebody should tell this conquered population to sit down, shut up and behave.
