OUTRAGE VANITY - HOW CAN THE 9-11 COMMISIONERS BE ON CHRISSY SHOW
Vanity - aShepard
Posted on 03/30/2004 4:40:39 PM PST by aShepard
I'm watching Chris Matthews interviewing Ben-Vaniste, and the pubbie commissioner talking about Clarke/Rice issues!
How can that be? Even judge ITO was unable to discuss the case about OJ.
How can these commission members discuss the most important issue facing the government, while the testimony is still coming in?? How can these folks talk about the beginning 1/2 of an issue to the American public, before the other side has presented its case?
What a bunch of total wasted hoseshit!

That's kind of silly. This isn't a criminal hearing. They aren't judging guilt or innocence.

I too was angered by what I saw; you can send a note to the commission and make your complaints with them at
info@9-11comission. I turned the channel almost immediately....the one good thing is: nobody watches sissy chrissy anyway.

I wasn't half as mad at them as I was at that MoveOn.org ad.

You must have actually thought this wasn't a political dog-n-pony show?
To: aShepard
How? I suppose the same way we had Democrap Senators parading out for press conferences during the Clinton Impeachment trial, declaring the articles a "pile of dung" before they were even transmitted.

This commission lost any credibility it had when Clarke testified....if it had any to begin with.
It's obvious that this is a DNC witch hunt for the Bush administration and a media love-fest for the process.
Once I accepted that this commission is nothing but a kangaroo court, it got lots easier to handle their sham.
Huge opportunity lost of course, for the country to actually benefit from any genuine results of an impartial investigation and it's giving all sorts of encouragement to the terrorists and EuroSocialists, but the media must have a horserace of an election donchaknow.
And if there doesn't seem to be one shaping up on its own, then the nedia will create one or at least the illusion of one.

I understand your outrage over the a-hole Matthews, but I don't see what is wrong with having 9-11 commission members on a talking head show. Bill of Rights and freedom of speech. Remember.

Ben-Veniste is a RAT. We have to give RATs a lot of latitude, don't you know?

I don't think it's a bit silly - our government officials are supposed to maintain a certain waterline of ethics. They've started snorkling in their desperation.
It is my fervent wish that all liberals and Democrats (save a token few) are bounced out on their *sses in November. They are beyond decency, beyond respect, in hitting the talk shows. I hope Condi rams it up their clymers and breaks it off.

What MoveOn.Org ad? I agree that this whole situation is ridiculous!
To: aShepard
I'm watching Chris Matthews interviewing Ben-Vaniste, I guess he needed an easy interview after getting his @$$ kicked by the father(Ernest Strada) of a Cantor Fitz employee killed in the Towers.

I wrote a letter to the editor, which they didn't publish by the way (first one I have submitted that has not been published). My letter simply said: "now we know the purpose of the 9-11 commission, to sell Richard Clarke's book" HA.
Take heed that the Clarke story is backfiring big time. The Move-on ad (which I did not see) will be seen as trashy by any sane individual.

It is supposed to be a non-partisan commission to look at the roots of 9-11, so we can avoid another attack. They are being brazen, ragged-out whores in pandering to the media's lust for ratings, and do NOT have our interests even on the scope. AT ALL.
They aren't even hiding their blatant opportunism. They're being first class SOB's.

How can anyone call this panel bi-partisan. The Dems have one of the lyingest, most rabid purely partisan defenders of Clinton during the impeachment in Ben Vineste. A former head of the DNC in Romer, and a former assistant to Janet Reno. The Pubs have a couple of Northeast moderates. Did Kerry pick this panel or did fat Teddy do it?
To: aShepard
I'll tell you what totally ticks me off - on Special Report this evening it was stated that only FIVE of the creeps attended Condi's private testimony.
I wonder which 5 did NOT consider it important, as if I couldn't guess.
I guess the peacocks were too busy preening for their public performance.

Did you happen to hear Fred Barnes on Brit Hume's panel tonight report that when Condi met for 4 hours of questioning by the commission, that
only 5 of the 10 commissioners even showed up?!If it is so all-fired important for her to testify in public, why was half the commission absent from her questioning?
Maybe they had the flu.....that particularly virulent strain, DNC flu.

That doesn't piss me off as much as last weekend when a pubbie senator or ex senator expressed him extreme gratitude for all the clinton administration had done against terrorism. (puke-gag) I turned it off with much anger. Wish I could remember his name. Was too pissed to catch it. All I remember is the r by his name.
