Timmy Russert is now slamming this whole thing and said that the reason why the WH is doing this because of PR

Speaking of credibility hits. Russert over the last few months has been shredding his. I saw him and David Gregory, too. They are stuck in old talking points and clearly have no grasp of the reality of the situation.

As Rush said today on his show, the "youngsters" in the White House press corps have no concept or clue what the Constitution says.

Timmy just mad because his buddy Clarke just got taken out of the news cycle.

And now we have Bill Press on MSNBC saying that if the Bush administration had had cabinet meetings every single day *****LIKE THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION DID**** maybe 9-11 wouldn't have happened.

He said they didn't meet on it until September.

The thing that has happened here is that these people can't get it through their heads that Bush HAD A DIFFERENT WAY OF DOING THINGS -- and that just because Mr. Clarke wasn't invited to the meetings doesn't mean they weren't meeting.

Clarke seems to believe if people weren't talking to him, they weren't talking!

He got demoted; he was out of the loop; he probably lost his good parking place, too -- and he's furious.

He is a liar.

The silly media pundits still not seeing how this game unfolds..

the Bush people, after seeing the pew, gallup data, is convinced this issue is not gonna hurt that much, if at all..

on the contrary, this circus will suck all the media oxygen away from Kerry.

Nobody, I mean nobody, will hear anything from Kerry for weeks!!! The media will be focusing on the WH, Bush, Clarke, Condi, and 9/11 commission blah blah.

Think about this, Bush is running a lot of aggressive ads against Kerry and driving Kerry's negatives sky high!

If the media is too busy to cover stories outside this circus, would anyone hear the rebuttals from Kerry against those Bush ads?? Let me mind you that Kerry is low on cash now, and a few more weeks of unrelenting unanswered Bush ads will do real harm to Kerry among the swing voters. We are beginning to see that problem over the gallup poll.

The media pundits can never see this big picture as they are too much of an inside crowd to see the obvious.
