FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A flight from Fort Myers, Fla., to Dallas was canceled after officials were told by a psychic that a bomb might be on board.
Nothing was found.
A Transportation Security Administration official said the warning was unusual, but "in these times, we can't ignore anything."
American Airlines Flight 1304 was searched Friday crews using bomb-sniffing dogs. By the time they were finished, the airline crew had exceeded its work hours and the flight was canceled.
Officials would not say where the tip came from, or to whom it was made.

I heard about this on my drive home yesterday.
LEO's don't know whether or not to charge her w/ a terror threat.
I don't think when our laws are written legislators say "what if a psychic calls us and tells us the future?"

Wait.....its coming to me.....
I 'see' psychics coming out of the woodwork now. They're predicting bombs on airplanes. They're asking for a 'donation' and they'll reveal where the bomb is.
Just my 2c.

It makes me crazy to think law enforcement buys this junk. Lives are at risk and this is their answer?
Worse than divining water.

Real problem was one ticket was made out to "Gort", another to "Klatu"

In my small town, we had a psychic move into a rental house the financial institution I worked for owned - rented through an affiliated RE agent. They evicted her after two months because she ran a business from residential property. She should have known that arrangement wouldn't work. So much for her "future"....

Why aren't the psychics winning the lotteries?

Even worse, real bombers claiming to have been only "mediums".
This gives Homeland Security's "MEDIUM" threat level a new meaning.

Actually, I'm surprised we don't have half a dozen of these hoax warnings a day - without them even bothering to say they're psychic.

Now maybe the airlines will be required to call the Psychic Hotline before they get clearance for takeoff. Having the pilot & crew go for a "reading" would also be nice - can't be too safe these days.
