In 7:25 break, anchor reported "Terri Schiavo was rushed to a Pinellas County emergency room last night after nursing home staff noticed puncture wounds on her arm. The wounds appeared to be caused by a hypodermic needle! Toxicology tests were conducted but the results are not available yet!"

This could open a huge new round in this case. What did tests reveal? Who was last person in room? When was husband there? Was staffer trying the Angle of Death routine?

This will be developing hard all day!

The Quacks I described were the psychic healers from Kansas City who "diagnosed" her problems on the phone.... and who claimed that they could heal her by shouting to her on the telephone:

"Terri! Wake Up. They Are Trying To Kill You."

Now do you understand maybe one reason the judge has been siding against family.

Lot's of things could have happened but I don't think they did it. I would have understood if they had but since they said they didn't I have no reason not to believe them. It has also been reported here that they were not allowed to be alone with her in private and that they left her sitting in a chair. They would not have left her in the position described IMO. That should be easy to determine by just asking the CNAs, "did you put her to bed after her parents left?
Was she aggitated after they left? Does she have an order for IV meds?
Was lab in the building ?
Who knows? If I was the one investigating I would sure find out though. There are too many people and witnesses working in these nursing homes to not be able to get to the truth.
Are people taking advantage of the situation? Well read their comments and you decide. The parents filed a CC that was denied yesterday. Today because of her condition the husband denies them visiting rights. Is this a gotcha? I don't know but I don't understand his reasons. What's the worst the family could do? Kill her?

ping. gwb man, please read the entire thread to find out all that happened today. Further, I attended the official first Vigil-Protest at Park Place this evening. More than you might imagine showed up and there were three satellite trucks there to cover today's story. I don't have any reports to make. Easy to do, when you have a judge who seemingly couldn't care less about the numerous and serious violations of state law and guardianship statutes that permeate this case, and who bends over backwards to accommodate hubby and his wishes time after time. Judge Greer is as predictable as the sunrise. What Michael wants, Michael gets. Period. Case closed.

A first-grader could go into that courtroom and argue for Michael and win just as often.
