Terri Schiavo Hospitalized With Apparent Puncture Wounds In Arm! Apparent Foul Play!

In 7:25 break, anchor reported "Terri Schiavo was rushed to a Pinellas County emergency room last night after nursing home staff noticed puncture wounds on her arm. The wounds appeared to be caused by a hypodermic needle! Toxicology tests were conducted but the results are not available yet!"
This could open a huge new round in this case. What did tests reveal? Who was last person in room? When was husband there? Was staffer trying the Angle of Death routine?
This will be developing hard all day!

Her teeth don't get brushed, would be a breeding ground for bacteria. You and I are on the same page.

OK, I'll bite. Tell us, what would be effective for helping Terri?

They're not my "buddies". I don't know anything about the election except what I've heard from you.
If you think it OK to aid in the victory of pro-death candidates that's your business. It is however wrong.
If you have a murderer running against a murderer/sodomite aiding the murderer is not the answer, extracting yourself from the situation is. For your own sake and everyone else's.
I realize this doesn't make sense to you, we've had this argument already. You claim to be pro-life and probably are to some degree but your attitude in general, and on this thread in particular belies an ignorance regarding the sacredness of life.

Are these people nuts???"
Yep, everything's normal. Stop looking at that woman with the missing teeth and the serious bedsore, found in a "disheveled" state with five puncture wounds in her arms, and with a husband who has spent most of his waking hours for the past several years trying to see that she is killed.
Nothing to see here, move along now.

I don't think it's fair to jump to the assumption the parents are guilty of anything at all in this. They want her to live, the adulterous husband has wanted her dead for many years now.

"That law is merely delaying things--it's likely to get thrown out as unconstitutional." It's not unconstitutional just because Felos says it is. How come the judges in Florida have said if you don't like the ruling, call your Congressman and change the law. That's what we did.
"And your communications on the topic did far less than a few people who worked quietly behind the scenes."
Tell that to Jim King. He wouldn't even allow it to come up for a vote, until we started swamping their offices. Democracy in action.
"Had the case been handled competently to begin with, it wouldn't have been necessary. But the Terry Schiavo soap opera addicts refuse to do anything that will be effective; they've become enamored with the process to the exclusion of results."
We weren't around in the beginning. Most of us have only heard of the case in the last six months or so.
"I haven't seen anyone doing anything effective."
It's not over yet. Terri's still alive.
"You're making a difference, all right. You're helping Michael Schiavo."
Isn't that your job?

JEB to investigate! Great news! Thanks for the update.

I know I can't make yall but would you please take your voiding contest to FM ? Can we not discuss what has happened today regarding TS?
To: Poohbah
I've gotten some of FR's most self-righteous jerks overtorqued at me. How many months has it been? In spite of a starvation attempt and everything else --- Terri is still alive ---- months and months --- after everyone on the death side said she was terminal --- dying from pain, about to die any moment. Still she lives --- I think we all realize by now, someone is going to have to kill her to get her to die.

Good point.
Compared to the sinister machinations of Michael and co., the mistakes and misjudgments of some of Terri's supporters look like minor traffic violations.
Attacking her poor parents is a favorite tactic of Felos and his ilk, to deflect attention from their killing scheme.

What's a "voiding contest"?
In any case, Poohbah and I have been arguing about this for years. Are we supposed to stop now?

That sums it up well.

So almost immediately after her parents leave, Terri is changed into a gown?Sounds like she's only dressed and sitting up to look good for her parents or anyone else who could blow the whistle. When no one is expected to visit, she's in a gown and ignored. This behavior upon the nursing home's part is, sadly, the norm.
To: CindyDawg; Poohbah
Poohbah and his fellow trolls want to discusss everything EXCEPT what has happened today to Terri.
It's the troll tactic of choice, to veer the thread off topic, so Freepers who want to help Terri become distracted and/or discouraged.
Best to ignore these people, they've been piping their tired old tune for many months on these threads, and Terri still lives.

If you are for Terri and feel so strongly that another plan should be tried why not suggest one? I have and am working on it in my spare time as SAHM and I'm not nearly as far as I thought I would be. I have not read every post you've made regarding Terri but some of the things you've posted come across as bashing the efforts of Terri supporters.
I would appreciate if you would elaborate on the following:
How can you say that Felos isn't a fanatic? He thinks he has enough mental power to bring down a plane and that he can read the souls of disabled people. He wrote Litigation As Spiritual Practice and for him these cases do have a religious undertone.
How can you support the statement that MS side has the legal standing and not Terri's? Judge Greer used Dr. Cranford's definition of PVS and not the definition in the Fl Statutes, also Judge Greer has not followed statutes in many regards by allowing MS to remain her guardian.
Also Sen. Jim King says Terri and presumably those like her should die, isn't he a fanatic for death?
Why won't you name the non-lawyer you keep mentioning?
Sounds like he's trying to actually do something, what are you doing or have you done to help Terri?
What is so idiotic about showing a video of Terri? How are you helping her by making such negative comments? Offer real suggestions instead of so much criticism. I'm sure Terri's family and a lot of Freepers would be all ears to a good plan.
Sen King said the bill was passed because of tremendous pressure via emails and phone calls. There were many of us who watched the legislative session on the internet and commented on it in real time here on FR. I just think it is very assumptive of you to state that there were 3 Republican women who really pushed the buttons and that we probably wouldn't know who they were.
If all a person is physically able to do is contact their legislators or stand on a corner with a sign, what is wrong with that? Anything that would bring Terri's situation out in the open ought to help. I have contacted the Jacksonville media on several occasions urging them to 'report' and not feed us 'edits' of AP articles. On at least one occasion they did!
I'm honestly not wanting to argue with you. I would like to have a better line on where you're coming from. If you really want to help then yes we need results and we need them quickly. Let's have some brainstorming instead of so much negative.

How can you support the statement that MS side has the legal standing and not Terri's?Because Michael Schiavo is the husband, and the husband has the legal standing, not the parents.

I've got to respond to this. First, Poohbah's been here a LOT longer than you, is a FReeper who provides a great deal of valuable information on a variety of topics, and to call him a "troll" when you've been here since September last year is the height of chutzpah.
Second, before ANY of you call someone a "fanatic", you should reread the flames your OWN side tosses about with such wild abandon, and look in a mirror.
Those you deride as "death merchants" have made some worthwhile, decent points which at least deserve consideration.
Keep it up. Don't wonder why people start treating YOU as the maniacs, though.
