We don't need to allow this thread to be hijacked. This thread isn't about doctor's credentials, previous therapies, or whether or not Terri is in a persistent vegetative state. Can we just ignore the people who are trying to derail this thread?

This thread is in breaking news because mysterious hypodermic puncture wounds on Terri's arms are being investigated as a possible crime. It's relevant that in the past few weeks Terri was found (by her parents) to be missing first one tooth, and then a few days ago a second tooth. She was found in the past few weeks to have a pressure wound. Several weeks ago she was having a mysterious episode of vomiting, which is life-threatening to someone on a feeding tube.

Terri's parents haven't been able to get any response from the nursing or medical staff as to the cause of the missing teeth, the vomiting, or the pressure sore. Michael Schiavo has ordered that no medical information be provided to Terri's parents, despite an earlier court order that they be provided all medical information. Yesterday Judge Greer dismissed the Schindler's contempt motion that would have forced Michael to comply with the earlier court order.

Something is happening to Terri in this nursing home, and it may be coming to a head with this criminal investigation.

LATEST NEWS 2:00 PM est: The labs are back from Terri. No substances found in her blood labs from all the puncture wounds yesterday. Baynews9.com. They didn't say if the Clearwater Police were done with their investigation but whether there was a substance injected or not, getting stuck FIVE TIMES for no good reason is MORE PHYSICAL ABUSE AGAINST THE PERSON OF TERRI SCHINDLER-SCHIAVO.

When will the family get to visit Terri again? ONLY THE SCHIAVO KNOWS.

Since I have been wearing braces, I broke the habit of removing needle cap with my teeth. Old habits die hard, however.

LOL! I have a friend who takes the cap off with her teeth and then "shoots" the cap right out of her mouth into the waste can. She never misses! I tried it once and only managed to drool all over myself, so I never got into the habit.

The Wave Galaxy Group's own website, to prove that those "doctors" are not medical doctors but "alternative medicine" posers

Pro-life World Net Daily, to proof that Terri's parents used Wave Galaxy "doctors" to provide surreptitious "therapy" to Terri

Dr. Novella's article to substantiate that "Doctor" Hammesfahr is considered a quack by at least some of his peers.

Too bad that the facts upset up.

Good post. We need to stay on track with this developing information.

I've contacted the Clearwater police, but could only leave a voice message. They seem to be allowing Michael to lead the investigation. They should suspend his visiting rights until they get to the bottom of the missing teeth, bed sores, puncture wounds. Obviously, Terri's parents couldn't have cause the missing teeth or the bed sores and they are supervised on their visits to Terri.

Allowing Michael unfettered access to Terri is like letting the fox guard the hen house.

Further, we are doing sign protests at Park Place Assisted Living every day starting at 5:00 pm. TONIGHT WE START. Something's not right. Greer denies the Schindler's Contempt Motion against Michael, Michael finds five puncture wounds but there's no substances in Terri's labs, Felos blames the parents, Clearwater PD investigate. Michael cuts off visitation until the PD is done. We have trolls who will be unsuccessful in hijacking this thread.

I'm wondering about the above statement in one of the articles. Could he have injected her with something that is already being given to her, but in a larger dose. Just enought to make her sick but not show up in the tox screens.

There are also a lot of toxic substances that don't show up on regular tox screens. So unless you know what to look for, you won't find anything unusual.

This is an emotional issue for some posters in FR, and they do not want to read facts or opinions that might question their viewpoint.

I jumped on this thread because it was posted on the highly visible BREAKING NEWS bar, which is the most efficient way to attract comments to a story.

I'll let them go back to the echo chamber mode... only one viewpoint is welcome on this thread.

That is both one of the most foolish and most dangerous comment of this entire thread.

Neither Michael or his lawyer are fanatics. They have the preponderance of law on their side. They have enjoyed a string of legal victories. They have the majority of public opinion on their side, as measured in all RANDOM polls.

This is a LEGAL case, not some religious court or Star Chamber proceeding. It is in court, not the streets.

Like it or not, the parents have made some incredibly bad legal, therapeutic and PR decisions.

The worst thing we can do is keep attacking the motives of the husband and his lawyer. The hyperbole makes us all seem like weirdos.

Pop's Press Conference. Michael took away their visitation as a result of Pops speaking out. What a way to treat your in-laws.

They had a tv-vcr at this press conference wherein they showed that Terri was responsive and communicative. Doing so was forbidden. THIS IS HARD BALL, there's no question about that.
