read much? Ah ha ha! Actually, you can order books from ANY branch, which we do. You wouldn't ask that if you had been in my house. We really need two houses, one for us and one for the books!

Nobody in LA ever goes downtown if we don't have to.
Also, the names of the buildings have changed so much we gave up. I used to know what they call the Library Tower as the 1st Interstate Building. After 1st Interstate was absorbed, I lost track of the name.
When someone says the LA Library, I think of the old Library Building.
And I was born and raised here 40+ years, so I know of what I speak.
