Happy Easter to all! - And another Anna Update(4/11/2004)

Today's news is just a continuation of the most recent:

Anna gained one ounce since yesterday. (Current weight: 3 lbs, 10.6 oz - almost back to her birth weight!).

She is now eating 27cc of breast milk (90% strength) every 3 hours. They are rotating feedings with bottle, then tube, bottle, then tube, etc. She gets better at it with each bottle feeding.

Diana got to do the 3:00PM bottle feeding today. I'm not sure it helped Diana's depression when we left, though.

And even Diana's Mom got to hold her for the first time:

At the rate Anna is improving and gaining weight, do you have any idea how much longer it will be before she gets to go home?

Congratulations to you and Mrs. Battman on the arrival of precious Anna Elizabeth! I'm thrilled to hear she is progressing so well, it gives me greater hope that my dear friend's child who was delivered last week (32 weeks) is going to pull through.

Fantastic update. Your little miracle is going to be just fine but I will continue praying for her. She is wonderful.
