***The Markets Show That Clarke Failed***
Fox News | Stardate: 0403.29

Posted on 03/29/2004 2:41:54 PM PST by The Wizard

In what is clearly a demonstration that the Clarke testimony failed to close the sale against GWB, the markets have rallied over 300 points since Clarke appeared at the 9-11 Commission.

With the democrats crying everyday that the economy is in a basket, far from true, they must have pinned their hopes on the smearing that was conducted by Dick Clarke, (not the ABC American Bandstand host, but the former Clinton man who accomplished very, very little in his 8 years in national security).

All three markets have picked up substantial gains since the testimony, even though the media carried the story in way out of proportion way....

With Chris Mathews crying every night on his show, and the usual suspects reporting every word that Clarke said, (this time) and ignoring all the positive things Clarke said in the past, the democrats must have felt that their ship was about to dock.....

Instead, the markets have continued their upturn, as the GWB tax cuts kick in and prepare to really hit in April....

One can only assume from the reaction of the markets that GWB is expected to win in November.

Actually, you can explain the markets with two simply phrases;

The market is down: profit-taking.

The market is up: bargain-hunting.

This seems to work as well as anything. The investors don't explain what they're doing, they just buy and sell.

Nothing to play out.....Bush is in.....RATS or out another 4 years. I know how high my hopes were that clintoon wouldn't/couldn't win 2nd term. To my dismay he won....all the work the RATS are putting in including the liberal left media, and the illegal funds.....they'll be dismayed as I was another 4 years of BUSH.

The market looks at a lot more stuff than 9/11 commission testimony.

Good catch!

The markets, in case anyone is playing, have been tracking the election prospects of Bush!

The market wants President Bush to win in 2004 for obvious reasons.

Since Dean imploded and Kerry was nominated, the markets had been tanking.

But Flip-Flop Kerry has done Bush's work by being revealed as just another lying Liberal.

The result: BUSH LANDSLIDE = MORE MONEY IN YOUR POCKET

The investors don't explain what they're doing, they just buy and sell.

In the end, the tally shows how much, not how.
