That's the tactics of the extreme Left nowadays. Scream so loud no one can get a word in edgewise. I don't normally hate people, but folks who pull crap like that are toeing the line with me.
A funny thing I noticed is that anti-Semitism, once the vanguard of the Nazis, on the extreme right, has now become the singsong of the anti-Israel protesters on the extreme left. How the world turns, eh?

It was irrelevant to these chanters that I also support a Palestinian state, the end of the Israeli occupation and the dismantling of most of the settlements. snip
If a dozen Boston police were not protecting me, I have little doubt I would have been physically attacked. Their eyes were ablaze with fanatical zeal.
Maybe Alan should rethink his views on "Israeli occupation" and "support [of] a Palestinian state".
Trust me Alan, that's how they all are. It's all about extermination of Jews, not about a "Palestinian State".

It is hard to generate any sympathy for Dershowitz.

A Jewish lefty reaping the rewards of what he and all Jew lefties have sewn: Lefty antisemitism.
Enjoy the hatred Al-this only the beginning.
When Sharon is history, watch the acceleration of Israel's demise at the hands of the Israeli leftist elite in cahoots with the Arab-Euro axis.

Hate-filled fools like ACT-MA won't be content until they start a war. Their satisfaction will be fleeting.

Should be titled - "Alan Dershowitz has a Come-to-Jesus Moment".

Dersh contributed to the general breakdown of civil society when he went out ego tripping to defend OJ Simpson. At Fanuiel Hall he sorta reaped what he sowed.

'ex-'ultraliberal Dershowitz has recently (since 9/11) enjoyed a 'coversion' of sorts to some moderately more conservative views. He has FINALLY had his eyes opened to and understands the left/liberal's virulent anti-Semitism (Rachel 'Pancake' Corie comes to mind).
Unfortunately, that leaves the other 99.9%(okay - 99.8%)of New England Jews who would rather send their money to and vote for ANY Democrat(and let Israeli Jews die) rather than support any Republican and protect Israel.
To: Nachum
How many epiphanies does it take for a leftist to see the light? (Some very large number that Dershowitz hasn't reached yet ...)

I experienced violent anti-Semitism for the first time in my adult life Stop and think about that. A lot of people don't like Dershowitz. There are many reasons. But, apparently, his Jewishness has not been one of those reasons. He has been a controversial figure, very much in the public eye, for probably 30 years -- and he has not experienced any violent anti-Semitism in that time.
This is a great, tolerant country. The only people who don't think we're tolerant enough are the people who just showed Alan Dershowtz what violent anti-semitism is like.

Golly, ya think Dersh?

Where did Dershowitz stand on Mel Gibson's Passion?
There have been no anti-semitic incidents caused by that movie. All anti-semitism is from the Left and the Islamics. Yet, they always seem to escape the blame.

Not really, the Nazis were socialists - extreme left.
They supported gun control, atheism, abortion, and vegetarianism, among other things.
To: Nachum
I wonder if it bothers Dershowitz at all that these creeps he encountered most likely agree with him on about 95% of the other issues.

A funny thing I noticed is that anti-Semitism, once the vanguard of the Nazis, on the extreme right, has now become the singsong of the anti-Israel protesters on the extreme left. How the world turns, eh? The Nazi party is a Socialist party, and has thus always been an extreme leftist party. The Nazi party has been associated with right-wing groups because right wing groups are anti-communist, and so were the Nazis. Also right-wing groups tend to be somewhat hawkish - which is often confused with the outright aggresiveness of the Nazis. However the Nazis have way more in common with the left wing than the right wing. The Nazis were stongly in favor of wealth redistribution, strong central government, government-led social change, gun control, etc.
