Don't see the problem here, unless it is one of timing. . .how long does it take to get that info; particularly since it has already been released. . .and how long will it take this author to replace info. . .

Think it could not be more clear, who it is, that want this info stonewalled, delayed et al.

Interestingly, the theft occurred after the LA Times reporter paid a visit to inquire about the project.

Lets see, an 'alarm' call to Kerry camp; Kerry to Dem 'Operations'. . .and viola. . .the papers are stolen - and by professionals, of course.

This is just a ploy to cover up for Kerry's involvement.

The Kerry camp had to admit the KC attendance when Nicosi revealed FBI tracking placed him there.

It is as plain as day that he looked the other way, if not actively participated, in getting rid of these "juicy" files.

It's a tactic that we have noticed before, such as when he started using "Benedict Arnold".

What the Kerry Kamp does is take matters that will hurt them in the future and take ownership of keywords from these matters and use them on the offensive...this, they believe, will subvert the effect of the words.

This "blitzkrieg of projection" takes many forms and is the primary defensive tactic of the US left. Some other examples:

Wesley Clark runs for president instead of waiting in a hole while why the world figures out he is a war criminal.

A full throttle offensive on Bush's service record so that those who should be questioning Kerry's service record are on the defensive.

Committees and hearings on 9/11 to head off investigations on the shameful war against the Serbs.

"Bush is weak on ( fill in the blank ) to fend off charges that "Kerry is a nightmare on ( fill in the blank ).

This strategy hand-in-hand with efforts to harm the economy and work against WOT victory is the Democrats' war plan.

What I cannot understand in the mess is...under the FOI Act do they give you the originals or just copies. I can't, for the life in me, believe that the only pieces of paper,that exist, are handed over to someone, possibly never to be seen again. Am I missing something here?

Precisely. One expedited rerelease of the FOIA documents should set the record straight.

And Kerry still refuses to release his full military records. What is he hiding?

I work in the Govt. contracting field. You are given copies under FOIA, most times with redactions. He could replace these within 20 days (required response time by FOIA). If the Pubbies wanted them, they could have gotten them easily...after all, they had already been approved for release once. I searched the Electronic Reading Room at the FOIA site (they place files on there that are highly requested), but there were no matches under searches of John Kerry or VVAW. I thought Nicosi was on our side. Why would he make these accusations of theft against the Pubbies?

On the other hand, if you didn't want this info to be made public, wouldn't you want to remove as many copies as possible from circulation? I wonder who wouldn't ant this information to be made public? Anyone want to guess?
