Community Leaders Demand that DOL Secretary Elaine Chao Support Low-Wage Workers, Hundreds Gather at Her Home
(The whole title is too long for posting in the title field.)
How often does this happen in DC? Am I the last person to learn that harassing Administration officials is OK with the DC police?

There have been 3 million jobs lost in America since 2001. Saaaay...didn't that sneak up by a million while I wasn't looking?

More propaganda. Anyone can issue a press release saying anything they want it to say.

There's a story floating around this AM about a mob like this showing up at Karl Rove's house in DC. I suspect it's the same bussed-in bunch.

This, and showing up to Karl Rove and Ann Veneman's house.
The protest ground is shifting under our feet.

"Workers are dealing with discrimination, harassment, and unsafe conditions," said Randy Smith, a leader with the San Lucas Workers Center in Chicago. "It doesn't matter how we are treated, if the employer doesn't care for us, he or she can call the (temporary) agency to send someone else to replace us. We have no rights." Welcome to the real world Mr. Smith.

Heck, rent-a-mobs worked in Spain, successfully reversing the course of the Spanish elections. The Spanish didn't give in to the terrorists, they gave in to the mobs (summoned by cell phone by the Socialists and other leftwing parties and "peace" groups) that rioted outside of conservative party offices.
You're going to see them used more and more here, and I think we'd better be prepared to see full-out street riots around the time of the election.

If I read this correctly, we had advance warning of a mob headed towards folks houses.
1) turn out the dogs
2) call the cops
3) Leave before the mob arrives, let the hippies and cops and Rotts sort this out with out your help.

Hmm. I am not reading anything about ARRESTS here. This is stunning.
Now, don't y'all feel silly for protesting across the street from the Naval Observatory, when you could have really brought home "Get out of Cheney's house!" by rushing the property in numbers and beating on all the doors and windows?
To: maica
Who funds this group? Wonder if the ketchup foundation has a hand in this one, too?

They've just never managed to do it when he was there.

multi-racial/ethnic, inter-generational non-partisan coalition of hundreds of local community organizationsWhy cant these guys ever be honest?
"Elitist, old, embittered unrepentent communist refugee from the sixties type, white people leading undereducated minorities on whatever leftist crusade we think is good for them."
I mean, what is so bad about the truth?
