WHOA! Now
THAT'S harsh!
If there's any Democrat who Bush should be inviting over for movie night, it's Kerrey-Nebraska.
Seriously, what's the deal with Kerrey? Rush describes him as "Their McCain." What about him makes him want to be a Democrat, anyway? What liberal positions does he hold? Do the DUpes hate him? Why the hell didn't he run for President?

If this is the same Kerrey who questioned Clarke at the hearings, believe me, he's a Democrat. His bias against Bush was of galactic proportions.

Thanks, I didn't watch the hearings. I just found it incredible that ANY Democrat would raise ANY question of the Great and Powerful Madame Albright's allegedly sacred and clearly superior approach to foreign policy.

He did run for President, in 1992. He got whupped by Clinton and has held a bitter chip on his shoulder about that ever since. As an admitted war criminal, his political career is over. He likes to talk tough, but always, it seems, in hindsight, that is, "we should have taken them all out in 1993" - real helpful stuff like that. He seldom says anything positive about anyone, he is just a bitter man, angry about never able to be President, who likes to suggest that he has all the answers and everyone left in Washingon now that he has left is a nincompoop.

What about him makes him want to be a Democrat, anyway? If you had seen him strapping on the kneepads for Richard Clarke, the answer would be obvious.

From your cited article:
After Kerrey acknowledged the incident last year, a member of his Navy SEAL unit and two Vietnamese women who said they witnessed the raid alleged the soldiers herded the women and children together and massacred them - a charge that Kerrey and five other members of the Navy SEAL team deny. One of the women, Pham Thi Lanh, said 20 unarmed villagers, mostly women and children, were killed.
Eeeeyikes.

Hmm, sounds just like Clarke and John Kerry doesn't it?

No, Kerrey was playing by the standard Democratic playbook. He was acting as the "conscience" of the 9/11 commission, just like Lieberman in the Clinton Impeachment proceedings. You toss out a few anti-Democrat statements to establish credibility with most Americans (Lieberman was harsh on Clinton at the beginning), then you focus your attacks on the Republicans while letting the Democrats off the hook (Lieberman said Clinton should stay at the end).
Was it any surprise that Kerrey had a mini-Love Fest with Clarke??? Of course not, it was all planned ahead of time. Establish your non-partisanship with a few jabs at your side then let the hammer down on your political opponents. Don't be fooled by this amateurish stunt!

That's right, I do recall his running for President, lost amidst the bloodbath open warfare between the Brownians and the Clintonistas. I was not aware that he had left the Senate, however. How was it that he was able to question Albright during the hearings York describes? Were these not the same hearings that are currently taking place?

If there's any Democrat who Bush should be inviting over for movie night, it's Kerrey-Nebraska. Bravo Sierra! Kerrey was actively serving in the Senate during The 'Toon's administration. If he was any form of statesman or patriot, he should have spoken out at the time, not 11 years after the fact.

Bob Kerry is a real "old-time Democrat" - Real being, to me, the Southern Democrat - a social liberal but a fiscal conservative)
He is not one of the current left-wing radicals socialist / communist / marixst that john kerry and the dnc & company really are.
We need to call these enemies of our Republic what they truly are - otherwise we will lose this country.
We can't call them "Liberal" because they are nowhere near being liberal about anything.
We can't call them Democrat because they are not even close to what the Democrat party stood for 30 years ago. Besides, HOW can you call a barney frank, whorehouse in his basement, a figure to look up to even? Maybe if you're a member of the Congressional black communist ... excuse me ... caucus can yo be so low as to look UP to even see barney...
THEY are not Democrats - they are our ENEMIES. Especially since they have declared us to be their enemies.

My theory is the democrats on the commission know that X42 is going to have to take some hits, so they're trying to equate GWB to Clinton. After all, the democrat's last line of defense is "Well, they do it too."
