The point is that the government of Israel is NO friend or ally to the US. Japan is an ally. Great Britain is a ally.

Israel is not the perfect nation, neither is Japan or Great Britain. The fact is, the US went to war with Great Britain and Japan and they are now our friends. The fact that we didn't declare war on Israel after the USS Liberty incident is less Israel's fault than it was our fault. We chose to walk away from an attack that was clearly premeditated, but that was our mistake.

37 years later and the world has changed. Israel has paid for their arrogant attack on the Liberty over and over again (all you have to do is look at Israel's behavior during the first Gulf War, at our request, to see how they've paid). Like us, the Israeli's are fighting genuine terrorism. Your hatred of "Zionism" seems to have brought you down the wrong path. You don't have to be an apologist for Israel, but don't be an apologist for Turkey, the Palestinians, or Islam, either. And, calling Sharon and Yahoo terrorist organizations in the same breath just serves to undercut your arguments.

Ping me when Israel commits a "terrorist" act, and I'll ping you when Israel is the victim of a terrorist act.
