Arab men with weapons, maps, Mexican driver's licenses, apprehended attempting to enter U.S.

| Rick Roberts Show caller

I heard this on Friday and have been waiting to see if it got picked up anywhere. So far, total silence in the news media. A caller to the Rick Roberts show by the name of Sean claimed to be a firefighter in San Diego County. He said he gets email alerts directed to emergency service and law enforcement personnel (he wouldn't say who sends them, but the Department of Homeland Security would seem to be a logical source), and that he had just received one that three men of Arab descent had been apprehended at the San Ysidro (a town immediately South of San Diego) border crossing. The men had Mexican driver's licenses, had weapons secreted in the side panels of their car(s) (I couldn't quite tell if he used the plural or not), and had detailed maps of Camp Pendleton Marine Base, Sea World, San Onofre nuclear power plant, and Lindberg Field (San Diego's airport), with "obvious marks on the map where explosives could be placed." The men were crossing at the border checkpoint as though they were visitors. Sean said he had received the email alert a couple of days before calling.
This was just some person calling in to a radio show, and so it could be a hoax or false alarm. I don't see why the media would suppress it (and they must have sources who'd forward them alerts like this), so I'm not sure what to make of this. Thought I'd get it out there, though, just in case anyone is interested.

Has Rick Roberts checked with the San Diego County fire departments or have you? Someone should.

With the maps and guns...even if they are Mexican, shoot them. They obviously plan to harm US.

They were just planning on doing the terrorist work Mexicans don't want to do.

Has Rick Roberts checked with the San Diego County fire departments or have you? Someone should. That would be pointless. I don't want to know.
If the authorities were obligated to satisfy every curiosity you have it would be a perfect way for the terrorists and their support group to stay abreast of countermeasures.
Tell me about how close they came; in about five years.

Nothing personal, but we used to pity the Village Idiot.
Then radio and TV came only and we put them on the air.
Now the internet gives them credibility.
PS, Art Bell knows all about this. They are not really Arabs. They are really sons of Gort and Klatu.

It's all those who sneak thru the unmanned places that worry me. I bet these were just testing the fence for weakness.

Yikes! I'm glad they were apprehended. For every one Arab-Muslim we catch at the Mexican border, 15 to 20 get through (according to Linda Vesters' investigative report last month). ,,,,,,and around 15,000 Arabs-Muslims have gotten through since 9/11 (according to that same report).

I bet these were just testing the fence for weakness. They weren't even crossing through the fence, but coming across at a regular checkpoint. They were reportedly trying to drive in like tourists or people going to visit relatives.

I didn't see that report. That is very bad news.

PS, Art Bell knows all about this. They are not really Arabs. They are really sons of Gort and Klatu.I noted that the report was some over-the-transom call from an anonymous source, that no news outlet has chosen to run the story, and that that makes it suspect. I think it's worth putting on FR to see what anyone else has heard or knows. If nothing else turns up, even among such a connected bunch as Freepers, it's more likely to be untrue, the discovery of which is one reason for posting this.
To: Bahbah
I believe this is what we call hearsay. Just the facts, please.
