The author of a new book detailing a plan to use a Trojan horse embedded in stolen software to wage economic war against the Soviet Union fired back Thursday at charges the book's revelations are "rubbish."

"Every microchip they stole would run fine for 10 million cycles, and then it would go into some other mode. It wouldn't break down, it would start delivering false signals and go to a different logic." Remember, "what goes around, comes around." When China corners the chip market and the US defense industry starts fitting equipment with Chi-com chips the same result might happen, say 2050.

Look at all those failed space launches and still they were first to send a man in space. Then again, this story is great propaganda as well. The US can say it was our superior technology that they wanted (they stole it), we were responsible for their technological success (our chips) and their failed success (by our sabotage). Great work USA!
