A heads up. I think this will be a show you won't want to miss.
I will have Admiral (and former U.S. Senator) Jerimiah Denton on my Bay Area show Saturday at 2 PM Pacific. We will be discussing Denton's impressions of Kerry from his service in Vietnam. His postwar unAmerican activities and their shared time in the Senate.
You can listen online.http://ksfo.com/

Would he be the same guy that is very involved with the Catholic Church? If so, he is on the Board of Advisors for the school that my kids go to - which is an excellent Catholic School called St. Augustine Academy here in Ventura, CA.
Ask him what he thinks about Kerry taking Mass!

I will be listening on line.
I love Admiral Jeremiah Denton.
Matter of fact, I just received an e-mail
from the director of his foundation.

I wondered what had happened to Denton. I hadn't heard from him since he lost that 1986 cliffhanger to Richard Shelby. I wonder what he thinks about Shelby being a Republican now? Has he made any public statements?

I can't speak for all my colleagues. However, my show prep would never be complete without doing a "last twenty four hour" search of Free Republic.
What I pay most attention to is the number of posts a topic racks up. Gives me a good feel for what my listeners will respond to. What pushes their buttons. This is especially true of KSFO shows. KSFO is the only station I've ever worked (with the exception of fillins at KVI-Seattle) that is all Conservative all the time.
That's why I'm choosing to work seven days a week. It's so much fun to work for a station that is totally devoted to we "Neanderthals." When I first started doing this the number of Conservatives doing talk radio was tiny. I get a kick out of the fact we've come so far that ABC sees fit to offer up KSFO in an environment like the Bay Area. It's truly a labor of love. I get such a kick out of fussing with the nutty Leftist callers that we just don't have many of here in DFW.

I met the Sen as a young Marine Sergeant in the early 80's. I was in D.C. about to ship off overseas when a few of my buddies and I went to the Senate office building and met our respective senators. Sen Denton had us all in his office. I still have the picture of the two of us in his office.
Semper Fi Admiral!

I'll be listening. I enjoy the show, always. I can't listen all the time, all three hours, but listen often. I'm also registered to post, and do post occasionally, at Goldtalk.com.
Will you ever have Craig Winn back on?

Jeremiah Denton was portrayed by Hal Holbrook in the movie.
The scene at the airport on his return was very moving:
"I am proud to have had the opportunity to serve my country under difficult conditions".

Did you ever hear David Gold when his show out of Dallas was carried in San Diego? That was a couple years ago.

I listened every night.
I loved the show.

Do you have a pop up killer that needs to be toggled off?
