My naive speculation is that she's just too busy, dedicated to her work...
and there might be a religional aspect as she started talking recently about being
active as a Roman Catholic (I don't know if this was a new conversion or a
"return to the fold" experience).

IIRC, she and Lindsay Graham (of South Carolina) were rumored to be a number for awhile.

Of course, it could just be a matter of personal choice...or maybe she's like
some otherwise wonderful, likable professional women I've met: can't leave work
to come home.
A lady university professor I used to know...her husband (also a professor) had to
