Not really. I know of some places in Canada out in the sticks where they have wireless cable TV/internet, T1 internet connections, DSL, and cable modem access. No reason why it shouldn't happen in this country. ISDN and dialup is all but phased out in Canada for newer, emerging technologies

Here's the reason: No provider has deemed it possible to get a return on investment for providing fast access in your neck of the woods.
