5,600 people so far signed up so it's still coming along.
I tend to believe once some progress has been made in New Hampshire, people who prefer a more socialist/authoritarian agenda won't migrate there as much (and a few might even leave).
Like Utah or Nevada and some of the other states that have a general public perception, people who support those ideals will be drawn to it and there will be a positive reinforcement. That's what I'd hope for anyway.
Oh someone mentioned Hillary, that reminds me:
"It takes a public school to bankrupt a villiage" :)

Frankly, I think this is a great idea with real potential. If my wife didn't mind cold climate, we might retire there.

The other flaw is that even if they were successful in getting a libertarian style government, the fed would never ever tolerate it and would crush it one way or another.
As for the "it takes a school to bankrupt a village" quip... that comes from the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers.
