That's the problem with signing up for these systems. You're stuck with them for a year, like it or not. We had a satelite dish for awhile and I hated it. But had to wait for a year to get rid of it. We are very happy with cable. Have 5 TVs and 2 computers on it for $86 a month, and the only time it's ever been out was during the bad ice storm last year.

My hubby called poison control and they weren't too worried about it so he put some ice on it and gave me a benedryl. These things always happen on the weekend when the doctor's office is closed.
Couldn't do any research on the web since I had to keep my foot elevated. That's a good idea though.

One thing I don't miss about the South is the Copperheads and Water Moccasins. We have a few Rattlesnakes up here but they are not plentiful. I've not seen a snake since we moved here 12 years ago.

Time/Warner offers the cable and computer services as well as knowledgy. I haven't heard to many good things about Knowledgy.
I wish my fingers could keep up with my mind!!!! Drives me crazy when I re-read a post and find out that my thoughts were ten miles ahead of my fingers...

It doesn't seem all that cold to me. In fact it was a lot colder in Tenn. We are sitting right about where the weather pattern breaks from extreme cold coming from the NW.
