March 26, 2004 -- Nearly two out of three Americans oppose gay marriage, and a majority is against civil unions, according to a poll released yesterday.
But most also disapprove of President Bush's proposal to amend the Constitution to define marriage as the union between a man and a woman, according to the survey by Quinnipiac University.

Big surprise, we don't want to give family handouts to homos, and we don't want them to desecrate a core tradition. The real surprise is that it's only a majority and not an overwhelming one.

"But by almost the same margin, they oppose . . . Bush's call to amend the Constitution." I don't like the idea of unnecessarily tinkering with the Constitution either, but when activist judges ignore state laws to further a liberal agenda, what else can be done?

I'm betting that in my lifetime, gays will be able to sexually assault our kids in public restrooms, and be totally protected by the equal protecton cluase of the Constitution in doing so.
That's when the long knives come out (because they will have also taken our guns by then).

"Americans don't like gay marriage 2-1," said Maurice Carroll, director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. "But by almost the same margin, they oppose . . . Bush's call to amend the Constitution." LOL, later on in the article they tell us 51% vs. 41% oppose amending the Constitution. Since when is a 10% margin 'almost the same' as a 32% margin???? Must be some of that new math kicking in.

63% NIX GAY NUPS Catchy headline. Of course, the famous Variety headline was:
STIX NIX HIX FLIX
Meaning that movies about rural life were not popular in farmland, The preponderance in the polls against gay marriage likely originates from overwhelming opposition in flyover country. Thus the headline could read:
STIX NIX FIX BTWX 2 DIX

Homosexual Agenda Ping.
Notice that the homosexuals filing suit in Oregon are mentioned as doctors, professor, and cops. What are we sheeple supposed to do? Genuflect because our "betters" are more enlightened that us bluecollar guys? (Speaking for us bluecollar guys.)
The more people are informed, the more they will make good choices.
